RE-SOURCE is the Youth Conference organised by the Blackburn Diocese Board of Education. It is a yearly event which takes place, normally, on the first weekend of September.
Having been involved with the Diocese of Blackburn for a number of years and helping to produce various items, I have had the opportunities to produce designs for them in a professional capacity as well. One of these designs has been the flyers for the past 4 years conferences, which they have had based on a similar style and theme, as well as previous conferences working in conjunction with a fellow designer colleague and close friend.
The designs are purposefully 1/3 A4 to ensure they can fit into all the mailings that are dealt with by Church House, from putting one in with a letter to a youth leader in a DL envelope, through to a full A4 mailing and everything in between.
I have also helped with the music on the weekends by leading the worship with various groups and often I’m asked to DJ and arrange the Saturday night’s entertainment on the conference.
